Ziv
Ziv is one of our “true Sabra” guides and was born and raised in Petah Tikva, although he speaks English like a native. He served in the Israeli Military as a Communications Officer in a combat unit and remains in the IDF Reserves to this day. He has a BA in Geography and Land of Israel Studies from Bar Ilan University, and an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Ziv has a very well rounded knowledge base in all relevant guiding fields including history, geography, climatology, biology, botany and religion. Ziv has been a licensed tour guide for almost 20 years and has worked for the Israeli Foreign office guiding an impressive list of dignitaries and VIPs, as well as for the Israeli Tourist Office where he guided members of the press and media. Ziv lives near Tel Aviv, is married with 4 children and owns a 9 seater Ford van.
