Ronen
A seventh generation Jerusalemite, Ronen grew up in a house of educators and avid hikers of the Land of Israel. He also spent time with his parents in South Africa during their stint as “Shlichim” (Israeli emissaries to the Jewish communities), honing his English skills to a mother tongue level. He served in the IDF paratrooper Corp and continues to serve there in the reserves. Ronen is a veteran of almost every major military operation of the last 15 years. As a liberal-religious Zionist, Ronen lives with his wife and children in an intentionally mixed (both secular and religious) community just outside of Jerusalem. Ronen loves the great outdoors and often takes his tourists off the beaten path in his seven passenger seat Toyota Landcruiser. He knows the hiking and 4x4 trails like the back of his hand and is an avid adventurer. He is a thought provoking and passionate tour guide with plenty of wit, knowledge, adventure and even a touch of playful sarcasm. There is no better tour guide to see the country on foot, or off road, while learning, contemplating and laughing the entire trip. Ronen is also licensed to drive luxury tourist vehicles.
