Gershon
Gershon made Aliyah from South Africa in 1985 and has been working as a tour guide and educator since 1990. His rich knowledge in Judaism with an M.A. in Jewish History & Philosophy and years as a Jewish educator for the Ministry of Absorption, Young Judea, NFTY, EIE, Alexander Muss High School in Israel, Archaeological Seminars, Bar Ilan University, BBYO, Chai Lifeline, Mechina Kedem Tzvai and Matan Women’s Torah Institute gives Gershon the experience to expertly guide family tours from a Jewish perspective. He served in the Israel Defense Forces in the Givati infantry brigade, winning the President’s Award for Outstanding soldier in the southern command. Gershon lives in a small rural village atop mount Gilboa with his wife and children. He lives an observant lifestyle and does not drive on Shabbat.
