Dafna
Dafna was born and raised in Haifa, Israel by Eastern European parents who survived the Holocaust. She served in the army for three years, honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. Her duties mainly consisted of helping families of the deceased soldiers killed in action. After serving in the IDF, Dafna studied at Haifa University, later travelling to New York City, living there for five years, working for the State of Israel and studying at NYU. It is here where she honed her English speaking skills, and now speaks English at a mother tongue level.
Since 1998, Dafna has been working as an active tour guide with private groups, celebration groups, families, business people and philanthropists who want to have deeper knowledge and understanding of the country and region. Dafna is great with teens, children and Bar Mitsvah families as well. Dafna drives a Mercedes Benz van that seats seven passengers.
Dafna spends her free time with her children, reading, traveling and hiking in nature, walking on the beach, exercising, going to the theatre and the Israeli Opera, and visiting art exhibitions.
