Amir
Amir is a native born Israeli who has been involved in guiding and teaching since his army service in an elite sapper unit of the IDF. His many interests include hiking, archaeology, Holocaust studies, contemporary Israel/Middle East Studies and history. Amir shares a personal connection with Israel to his groups in a creative and eye-opening manner. His uncanny way of connecting with everyone on their own wave-length has enabled him to work with a diverse variety of groups. His experience ranges from a mixed Israeli-American Jewish group in Eastern Europe and jewish trips to Poland to private guiding for current IDF Chief of Staff, as well as using his knowledge and passion to enlighten his close circle of friends. He has worked with hundreds of North American families, both large and small and can provide a myriad of references upon request. Amir is a Master of the Arts in Contemporary Middle East Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is currently working on his PhD in Contemporary Middle Eastern Studies & International Relations. Amir owns and operates a seven passenger seat vehicle.
